As Pope Benedict XV once wrote, St. Francis “became the most faithful image and copy of Jesus Christ.” May this article be an opportunity to learn more about St. Francis and be inspired by his profound love and imitation of Christ.

Please join us this Sunday for an important Merger Meeting regarding the future of our church community. As part of the Bishop’s Into the Deep initiative, the current plan is to have St. Barnabas Church become part of Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish at the end of October.
This meeting will provide the most current information regarding this important transition and will be an opportunity for parishioners to ask questions and learn more about what this change will mean for our church community. All parishioners are strongly encouraged to attend.
We will also enjoy a Fellowship Sunday during the meeting. Please bring a dish to pass as we gather together for food, fellowship, and this important conversation. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us Tuesday evening for fellowship, prayer, and family fun. Families are encouraged to bring a potluck dish to share as we enjoy time together as a community.

St. Barnabas Harvest Festival

Saturday, October 17thStarting at 3:00 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship at our Church Harvest Festival! We’ll have a pie-making contest, three-legged race, and tug-of-war for men and kids, followed by a potluck-style gathering. Parishioners are encouraged to bring a harvest or fall-themed dish to pass and enjoy an evening together as a parish community.
We will also have a blessing of Catholic artwork and religious pieces that have not yet been blessed. Bring your special items with you to receive a blessing!
